Very barren look and atmosphere. It's almost like a desert scene with a glimmer of hope to be found in the existence of water. Awesome graduation of tones.

Wow, yeah I love the subtleness of the black and white. Usually I like really high contrast b/w, but here the low contrast is a thing of beauty. Awesome job.
